How are Christmas ornaments made?

The main component used is resin or silver clay. Resin is secreted by coniferous trees. Resin is naturally transparent but mixed with pigment and under heating the resin can be processed in just about all possible colours and shapes. The special effects are obtained by adding glass, silver or stone grit. To strengthen the structure, iron wire is used on the inside. The final phase is to paint the ornament and finish with pearls and pebbles.
